It is remarkable that I am already considering (and writing) about Back to School. Summer is too short! However, with children in camp and summer learning programs, summer time often feels like an extension of the school year anyway. So I am already thinking of a teacher thank you printable to use!
Saying Thank You
We still have many teachers, counselors and camp staff in the summer months. Kids are always learning and adults are always teaching 365 days a year. We don’t want to discount the amazing people we work with over the summer. Plus, during the summer we are already learning about and getting to know our new teachers and coaches for the upcoming school year.
Crayola Thank A Teacher
So, it was not surprising to me that Crayola has a Thank a Teacher campaign going on right now. They want parents to take the time out of their busy schedules to thank a teacher, camp counselor, or coach. Those people do amazing things for our kids and a thank you is a small way give kudos to them. So, kudos to Crayola for getting us parents and caregivers to take the time to say they rock!
After getting a few complimentary Crayola products, I wanted to share with you how to participate. If you head to Crayola.com/ThankATeacher, and upload a teacher thank you, you can enter to win a $10,000 makeover for a teacher classroom, a year supply of Crayola products for a school, AND a $1,000 student scholarships (to name a few of prizes). The coolest feature is that one thank you card will be featured on a special pack of Crayola crayons this holiday season.
The contests ends August 25th, 2018, but for more official rules and details, as I am sure I missed some, visit Crayola.com / ThankATeacher)
Teacher Thank You Printable
To be honest, I wasn’t sure who to thank as I wanted to thank so many people. However, in the end, I wanted to thank my son’s teacher from last year. I picked her because she was not only a teacher and an advocate, but a believer in what he could do – the trifecta of teacher awesomeness.
In honor of her, here is a fun Teacher Thank You printable I made that you can use! Print it out on sticky backed paper. (I recommend this affiliate Amazon product.) Cut it out and place on a box of Crayola crayons, fineline markers, colored pencils or broadline markers. I know my son’s teacher loved the Crayola twistable colored pencils, so we will put it on that.
