Neighborhood Toy Store Day 2012

A quick note: This content was created in partnership with one or more of the brands featured. I may have been paid, received products, or both. Paid or not, I’m still going to tell you what I think because none of us needs another toy our kids won’t play with.

Neighborhood Toy Store Day 2012 is this Saturday, November 10th. This will be the 3rd annual day, coordinated by the non-profit organization ASTRA, the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association. It is a wonderful way to celebrate the joy of shopping locally, while supporting the local retailer’s commitment to the community.
Check out the website called www.yourneighborhoodtoystore.org to help you locate your local stores & find high quality toys too! Plus, the website features articles with expert advice on toys and play for children of all ages.
A lot of participating stores will have special events or treats to say thanks for supporting them. For example, Magic Beans is offering 20% all Toys, and Alex Toys will have a special offer for consumers when they visit participating ALEX boutique stores. When you purchase $35 of any ALEX products, you’ll receive TWO free ALEX toys, valued at $32!! Click here to find a participating store.
All in all, have fun during Neighborhood Toy Store Day 2012, and get out to PLAY!
