Disney Junior Disney Bounding Outfit Ideas
The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (#DSMMC) is less than a month away and, like my fellow attendees, I’m honored to be selected and excited to go. As a result, I love putting together posts relating to the conference and last year, I put together some quirky Disney themed outfits that were fun for the parks, the parties and the conference itself. This year, I decided to be a bit more creative with my #DisneySMMC fashion post with Disney Junior Inspired Disney Bounding outfits.
My kids are 2 and 5, and are in love with Disney Junior programming that you can see from my post here. As a parent, I end up watching the shows with them and have a special affinity towards these characters too. So, it seemed like a good fit for my fashion focus. Plus, at last year’s Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I learned about Disney Bounding; the act of dressing based on Disney attractions, characters and destinations. Thus, I thought, why not combine the past conference programming inspiration with our fandom of Disney Junior! So this is what I came up with, while trying to maintain a professional vibe. Though flats might be a more preferable choice at this conference!

My kids love the show ‘Special Agent Oso’. I love it because it teaches logic and how to problem solve. So here is my Agent Oso inspired outfit.
Another favorite in our house is the new show ‘Miles from Tomorrowland’. My son loves everything space right now, and I like how the family is the focus of the show. So I decided to create an outfit inspired by Miles’ Mom.
My daughter is in love with Sofia so, of course, I could not not put together a Sofia inspired set. We love how Sofia teaches kindness.
Another favorite are the Octonauts – a show that teaches about the oceans and things that live in the sea. I went with a Captain Barnacle inspired dressing.
Lastly, is a long time favorite of the family which is Doc McStuffins. I actually put together two outfits inspired by her. The first is the classic look for Doc and the second is inspired by the launch of her Pet Vet role. When I was at Toy Fair, I saw a lot of toys inspired by the episode, so why not an outfit!
Lastly, I decided to create a look inspired by the conference hotel. This year, most attendees are staying at the Disney Yacht Club. I pulled the inspiration from one of the rooms in particular, which reflects the Yachting, New England feel, of this Disney Resort.
So what do you think? Which outfit is your favorite? Would you, or have you, ever Disney Bounded?
